Description


The incumbent will manage a department of individuals and/or products in the processing or support of Commercial & Private Wealth loan documentation to achieve the highest level of quality, efficiency and cost effectiveness, while maintaining tight controls through adherence to procedures. S/He will manage multiple large projects with a high level of impact to the operation in order to accomplish Global Operations' business goals. The incumbent will implement new processes into the operations environment, provide training, complete intricate problem resolution, as well as staff development. S/He will provide Internal/External auditors with any information needed. The incumbent is responsible for human resources, including monitoring ongoing performance, hiring and developing staff, providing assistance and training, and performance management. The candidate will be responsible for managing a Commercial & Private Wealth Loan Documentation department. Management of the following functions will be required: Examination of complex loan documentation for accuracy and compliance to State and Federal Banking regulations; working closely with lending areas regarding preparation of loan documentation; prepare various reports, review and monitor other departmental reports; file, maintenance and safekeeping of customer files; review and process instructions received from the Lending areas, Corporate Treasury, and middle-office lending support; maintain $4B Borrower In Custody program; pledging and releasing negotiable and non-negotiable collateral securing loans and Standby Letters of Credit; preparing commercial loan mortgage payoff statements and mortgage satisfactions.

Qualifications


Qualified candidate will have a BS/BA degree and/or equivalent work experience. S/He will excel in accuracy and error detection in transaction processing of high-volume and dollar accounts. The incumbent is responsible for large projects with high visibility and impact, which will require an advanced level of project management, teamwork and written and verbal communication skills. S/He must possess advanced leadership skills to effectively lead and administer performance reviews for multiple direct reports and staff members.
