Description

This is a Part-Time Benefit Eligible Position (24 hours per week worked in "4" 6-HOUR work days)

Incumbents are responsible for developing, implementing and administering human resources programs within various Information Technology groups. Incumbents analyze human resources problems and recommend solutions based on expertise, knowledge and/or experience. Provides operational and consultative support to business managers on a daily basis. Delivers tools and techniques to enable managers to coach their staff and comply with HR policies and programs.

Qualifications


Required:



* Experienced professional with four-year degree or equivalent work experience and 5-7 years experience within the HR Centers or Excellence (HRCsE) (employee relations, compensation and benefits, recruiting, training) and/or as an HR Generalist.

* An advanced degree and/or PHR/SPHR certification is preferred.

* Accomplished communication skills with demonstrated skills and abilities in: interacting with all levels of employees; negotiating, consulting, problem identification and resolution; organization; planning, prioritization; and time management.

* Demonstrated ability to gain a general understanding of business units supported as a HR generalist.

* Experience supporting a large size IT population is critical.

* Technical Recruiting experience is also needed since this person will assist the local Nashville recruiting process.

* Strong Interviewing Skills and ability to solicit detailed candidate feedback.
